Preventive Bullying and Cyberbullying Programs for Middle School Students

I'm passionate about engaging middle school students in conversations about personal identity, friend groups, and the roles that our identities play in bullying and cyberbullying.  I believe that every student has the capacity to contribute to making their school safer and more inclusive.

Through interactive, guided conversations, I facilitate middle school students exploring the dynamics of friend groups at their schools and how different aspects of our identities may play a role in these social dynamics.  Students learn to identity the myriad types of identity-based bullying and cyberbullying and how to safely and effectively intervene in these incidents, transitioning from being a bystander to acting as an ally to the target of bullying or cyberbullying.
