Licensed as a Professional Investigator (PI) in Maine and as an attorney in Massachusetts and Vermont, I serve as an external investigator for complex workplace and higher education matters, a facilitator of workshops, and a mediator of employment disputes.

External Investigations

When a complaint of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or serious misconduct arises, a prompt, thorough, and impartial investigation is crucial. Not only will such an investigation reduce your legal exposure, but it will also enable you to implement the corrective actions needed to support a respectful work environment.

With decades of experience conducting workplace investigations, I bring a consistently warm and professional approach, treating every participant with respect, curiosity, and thoughtfulness. My detailed investigative reports document each step of the process and clearly present my findings, giving you the information you need to decide on the next steps.

I also partner with colleges and universities to conduct investigations into Title IX matters and allegations involving students, faculty, or staff. My approach blends meticulous fact-finding with the discretion and sensitivity required in academic environments, ensuring each inquiry is handled promptly, thoroughly, and with the utmost care.

Mediation Services

I provide mediation services designed to address interpersonal conflicts before they escalate. Using a neutral and structured framework, I guide staff through constructive dialogues that prioritize direct communication. This process empowers the parties to craft their own mutually agreeable solutions, allowing them to resolve concerns collaboratively, repair professional relationships, and reach sustainable agreements within a confidential setting.
